We’ve been assigned to print patterns around us. To do this, we used an A4 size drawing paper and colored oil pastels. I ran towards the first tree with the largest scale texture, but the result I got did not satisfy me. That’s why I tried printing the floor tiles, where I could get more geometric and interesting patterns. I shaped the page by dividing it. In this way, my Zine pages can be more zippy.
Our next task was monoprinting. For this we were asked to leave the studio. We divided an A3 size paper into 4 parts. All we had to do was create accident sketches by keeping our hands on the paper throughout the walk. Along our route from the Studio to the John Henry Brookes building, we tried to obtain interesting patterns by changing the page at every turn and different movement.

Finally, we were asked to draw the circle we saw walking on another route. The trick here was to draw what we saw without stopping to walk.
